Metal Madness!

New surprises at Legare's Beads!  Working in the classroom at the Country Bumpkin, I've worked on a few new pieces using copper, silver, and brass.  Most of the fun is thinking up new ways to combine all the metals, and watching the design unfold.  Here a two necklaces, simple but sweet.

Copper Cuff

This beautiful copper cuff was made from a single sheet of copper, which was folded, hammered and textured and then fired to create a striking patina finish.  The cuff measures approximately 7-3/4 inches in length and 1-1/2 inches in  width and can be slightly adjusted to fit any wrist.  Small leaf stamps were added along the edges and inset was hammered with a rounded hammer to give the elusion of a rocky water bed. Bracelet retails for:  $88.00
